DARYL MOTA, WHO HAD A GOOD ALL ROUND GAME SCORED HIS SIDES ONLY FIRST HALF POINTS WITH A PENALTY GOAL, WHILE THE HOME SIDE CROSSED FOR A COUPLE OF TRIES. THE SECOND PERIOD SAW TAFFS WELL GET MORE INTO THE GAME AS YOUNG FULLBACK CHRIS TOTTLE, AND WING KRISTIAN NICHOLAS SCORED TRIES, BOTH CONVERTED BY DARYL MOTA, BUT THE HOME SIDE HIT BACK WITH TWO FURTHER TRIES TO RAP UP THE POINTS, ALTHOUGH THERE WAS A LOSING BONUS POINT FOR THE VISITORS. CAPTAIN DYFRIG REES WORKED HARD TO INSPIRE HIS YOUNG CHARGES, AND THERE WAS ANOTHER GOOD PERFORMANCE FROM LUKE JOHN, BUT WITH SO MANY YOUNGSTERS WITH LITTLE EXPERIENCE OF SENIOR RUGBY, COACHES KEITH JAMES, AND RHYS BLUMBERG WILL NEED TO KEEP WORKING HARD IN TRAINING BEFORE THEY START TO SEE IMPROVMENTS IN THEIR PERFORMANCE.

after a couple of good results there were high hopes as taffs well travelled to new tredegar, but the home side proved just a little to strong, running out winners 24-17.
daryl mota, who had a good all round game scored his sides only first half points with a penalty goal, while the home side crossed for a couple of tries. the second period saw taffs well get more into the game as young fullback chris tottle, and wing kristian nicholas scored tries, both converted by daryl mota, but the home side hit back with two further tries to rap up the points, although there was a losing bonus point for the visitors. captain dyfrig rees worked hard to inspire his young charges, and there was another good performance from luke john, but with so many youngsters with little experience of Senior rugby, coaches keith james, and rhys blumberg will need to keep working hard in training before they start to see improvments in their performance.
